the best small-production wines that you can't get from

 CalWine
- Founded in 1995 by H. "Al" Jabarin on the historic
Silverado Trail in Napa, CalWine has grown to be one of
the finest internet wine companies on the World Wide Web.
In 2006, eleven years after it all began, Al is continuing
his vision for CalWine with the addition of the retail store
(January, 2006) and wine tasting bar (July, 2006). When
you enter the redwood wine stave door and experience the
delight of the wine selection, you will not want to shop
for wine anywhere else. CalWine's focus is on the finer
wines California has to offer, with specific emphasis on
the smaller production, hand crafted "cult" wines
- and on rising star winemakers. In addition to the normal
tasting bar menu, CalWine has a schedule of special Library
and select winery events. You will find CalWine has something
to offer all wine palates - from the novice to the seasoned

 Stave
Wine Lounge - We specialize in small producer
wineries in the Napa Valley. They are made by well known
wine makers are not readily available for tasting anywhere
else in the valley. We also feature international regions
that change on a monthly basis. Currently we are focusing
on Argentina. The Wine Tasting Machines The Enomatic wine
tasting machines are a state of the art wine tasting system.
Simply by pressing a button, you can select a wine to taste.
The wine is perfectly preserved and you can taste before
you buy. Our Wine Glasses Since our wine is perfectly preserved
in our wine tasting machines, we have special "breathable"
wine glasses. These glasses aerate the wine in a matter
of mintues so you are tasting the wine as if it has been
decanted for an hour.
 The
Wine Garage has upwards of 200 different wines
available, with a current inventory of over 3,000 bottles.
Todd Miller is the wine buyer. He seeks out and personally
visits small wineries throughout California (usually in
rural, less-traveled areas such as Lodi, Paso Robles, Amador
and Mendocino) whose wines are not commercially available
outside their own areas. Miller then negotiates a price
directly with the vintner and delivers the merchandise himself
to the Calistoga shop. A handful of small wineries in Napa
and Sonoma Counties are also represented, along with wines
from New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Spain, and South Africa.
Miller enjoys hunting for unusual and lesser-known limited-production
wines: "I love scouting for these small and hand-crafted
lots of wine," Miller explains, “and our customers
get to share in these discoveries. They’ll ask about
labels they've never seen before—and won't see anywhere
else at a wine store in northern California!"
St.
Helena Wine Center - A leading wine purveyor,
the St. Helena Wine Center (SHWC) offers the essence of

on Main is a collective tasting room in the
