Bouchaine
Vineyards - Bouchaine wines are a compelling expression
of nature and culture, a marriage of grape and craft that harmonizes
the elegance of Burgundy with the exuberance of California. Bouchaine
Vineyards is established in the site of the oldest continually operated
winery in Carneros in the southern end of the Napa Valley. Bouchaine
is dedicated to the pursuit of enticing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay,
whose grapes are best suited to the climate and soils of our beautiful
100-acre estate vineyard. Located just north of the San Pablo and
San Francisco Bays, the vineyard climate is directly influenced
by the fog that rolls in each night, and the shallow, clay loam
soils are perfectly suited to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Bouchaine
Vineyards has a rich history that dates back to the late 1800’s
when wine grapes were first planted at this historic site.

Ceja
Vineyards - Terroir, (pronounced tair wahr), is a French
term and strictly translated refers to the earth. In the Carneros
Region, the term is defined as a special set of conditions encompassing
all the components that affect the grapes grown here. The soil’s
chemistry and physical structure, the slope and orientation of the
hills and valleys and the weather are all factors of terroir. Located
approximately 40 miles northeast of San Francisco, the Carneros
Region’s moderate climate is created by fog, moist air, and
cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean. Protected from harsh weather
by the Coastal Range, Carneros summer days are warm with cool nights
and winters are mild. As a result, grapes stay on the vine longer,
reaching high acidity and full flavor development.

Domaine
Carneros - Located in the heart of the Carneros region,
Domaine Carneros stands alone as the only sparkling wine producer
using exclusively Carneros grapes. The Carneros Appellation is the
first American Viticultural appellation to be defined according
to climate rather than along political lines. The appellation is
characterized by a long, moderately cool growing season tempered
by the maritime breezes and lingering fog off the San Pablo Bay
just to the south. These are optimum growing conditions for pinot
noir and chardonnay, the two primary grape varieties used in Domaine
Carneros wines.

Andretti
Winery was established in 1996 and takes its inspiration
from the distinguished career of its namesake and founder, Mario
Andretti, widely regarded as the greatest race car driver of all
time. When Mario retired after nearly five decades of competition,
a commemorative wine was produced in his honor in 1994. That event
sparked an interest in owning a winery. To accomplish this goal
he teamed up with his former associate, Joseph E. Antonini, who
as President, Chairman and CEO of Kmart, was one of Mario's major
sponsors. Together they formed Andretti Wine Group (AWG Limited),
a publicly traded stock company, to acquire property and build Andretti
Winery, with Joe serving as Chairman and Mario as Vice Chairman.

ZD
Wines - The success of ZD Wines can only be attributed
to the dedication and winemaking philosophy of the de Leuze family.
As ZD Wines moves forward, the family continues to grow. Norman
and Rosa Lee's grandchildren represent the 4th generation to contribute
their time and skills to the winery. In 1996 the de Leuze family
purchased an historical, 33-acre vineyard in Carneros. Formerly
owned by Irish immigrant Patrick Flanagan, the property is planted
with 26 acres of Chardonnay. Another seven acres was planted with
Pinot Noir which produced its first vintage in 1999. As the winery
continues to grow, so does the vision of ZD Wines.
